We are very proud to announce that our Chairman (and Great Grandson of our
founder) Charles Jarvis has been given the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award
from the Rotary Foundation for his charity work with Rotary, 41 Club, Marske
Community Partnership, Marske United Football Club, Marske in Bloom, Marske
Cricket Club and carrying on from his father Raymond in numerous other local
causes over many years.
This is the highest form of recognition a Rotary Club can bestow. It is presented
to a Rotarian or a member of the community who has made an outstanding
Contribution to their community.
Previous recipients of this award have been former US President Jimmy Carter, US
Astronaut James Lovell & Jonas Salk the developer of the polio vaccine so Charles
is now a member of a pretty illustrious group.
